The brand, LUV & CO., offers conscious beauty essentials in a diverse range of shades. With a focus on clean beauty, providing cosmetics that conquer even the most sensitive skin conditions, allowing you to reveal your confidence with ease.
LUV + CO. is the brainchild of Dr. Melodie Davis-Bundrage, a SCAD heart attack survivor, mother of three amazing daughters, one with special needs, and a lifelong skin condition conqueror. Her mission is to empower women of color to live confidently, creatively, and on purpose, resolving the love/hate relationship with melanated sensitive skin that is often associated with color cosmetics. With the store, the brand is also launching their 7-piece skincare and 4-piece body care lines.
LUV + CO. and its products have been featured in InStyle, New York Magazine, The Strategist, Mind Body Green and Blavity magazines. Their products are made with organic ingredients, PETA cruelty-free approved, free of parabens and available at their new flagship location in McDonough, GA, luvandcompany.com, birchbox.com, blkgrn.com, melaningracebk.com, The Sistah Shop, and Amazon with prices ranging from $26 - $59. The company also offers an affiliate program.
LUV + CO.’s flagship store is set to open August 18, 2023. It has beautifully decorated retail space, transporting patrons to a tranquil space with soothing hues of bamboo green, gold, and natural wood. Women and girls of all ages are welcome to shop, explore at the DYI Custom Blend counter, and even host their own LUV cosmetics party.
LUV + CO. has plans to introduce new products on a regular basis and will partner with other likeminded companies in hopes of caring for their customer’s overall health. They want women and girls to feel free to come and learn about clean beauty and how to care for themselves in a safe space where melanated skin is celebrated.
