Teen Clean Beauty Camp is a 4-day immersive experience designed to empower teen girls with confidence, creativity, and conscious beauty knowledge—all in a safe, affirming environment.
Through 8 interactive sessions (two sessions per day), campers explore the world and business of clean beauty while learning how to care for their skin, express themselves through makeup and fragrance, and imagine future careers in beauty and wellness.
This isn’t just makeup camp—it’s a confidence lab, creativity studio, and career discovery experience all in one.

🌱 All About Conscious Cosmetics & the Clean Beauty Industry
Campers kick off the experience by learning what clean beauty really means—beyond the buzzwords. We explore ingredient safety, product labeling, and why clean beauty matters for growing bodies and melanated skin. Teens learn how to become informed, empowered beauty consumers.
💼 Careers & Innovation in Clean Beauty
Beauty is big business—and it needs diverse leaders. Campers are introduced to exciting career paths in clean beauty, from product development and marketing to science, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. This session plants seeds for future innovators and change-makers.
🧖🏽♀️ Skin: Your Skin’s Safe Space
Healthy skin is the foundation of beauty. Teens learn how to care for their unique skin type, build a simple clean skincare routine, and understand how hormones, stress, and lifestyle impact skin—without shame or pressure to be “perfect.”
💄 Color: Express Yourself
Makeup becomes a tool for self-expression, not comparison. Campers explore clean makeup basics, shade matching for diverse skin tones, and age-appropriate application techniques—while celebrating individuality and creativity. Students will practice artistry and apply products to each other.
🧴 Body: Loving the Skin You’re In
This session focuses on whole-body care, confidence, and self-respect. Teens learn about clean body care, fragrance sensitivity, and how to choose products that nourish rather than irritate the skin.
🌸 Fragrance: Scents & Sensitivity
Campers explore fragrance in a fun, educational way—learning about clean vs. synthetic scents, personal preference, and how fragrance connects to mood, memory, and identity.
🧪 Prep & Practice: Create Your Brand & Products
Here’s where creativity comes alive. Campers work in teams to imagine their own clean beauty brand—developing product ideas, naming concepts, pricing, and messaging rooted in confidence, wellness, and inclusivity.
🎤 Pitch Session & Confidence Contest
The camp culminates in a joyful pitch session where campers present their brand ideas, practice public speaking, and celebrate their growth. Every girl leaves feeling seen, heard, and proud—because confidence is always the real win.

Conscious Cosmetics Kit
Each Teen Clean Beauty Camp participant receives a Conscious Cosmetics Kit included in the cost of camp—a curated collection of clean, age-appropriate beauty essentials used during class and theirs to take home.
The kit has a minimum retail value of $100 and is designed to support learning, creativity, and safe beauty practices beyond camp.
Kits may include items such as mascara, eyeshadow, blush, lip gloss or lip crayons, professional makeup brushes, blending sponges, a cosmetic bag, disposables, and makeup remover. Products and tools are selected with care to be teen-friendly, inclusive, and aligned with clean beauty standards.
During camp sessions, students will also use USDA-certified organic skincare products for instructional purposes. These professional-use skincare products are provided for in-class learning only and are not included in the take-home kit.

👩🏽🏫 Meet Instructor: Dr. Melodie Davis-Bundrage, PhD
Teen Clean Beauty Camp is led by Dr. Melodie Davis-Bundrage, an award-winning beauty founder, scholar, and nationally recognized expert in clean beauty, fashion business, and beauty merchandising.
Dr. Melodie is the Founder & CEO of LUV + CO Cosmetics, a conscious clean beauty brand created as a love letter to Black women and girls. With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry—including leadership roles with brands like Aveda—she brings real-world insight into how beauty products are created, marketed, and responsibly sold.
In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Dr. Melodie is a full-time college professor of Fashion Business and Beauty Merchandising, teaching at renowned institutions such as the University of Georgia (UGA), Johnson & Wales University (JWU), and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). She holds a PhD in International Merchandising with a concentration in Beauty Product Development, and her research and teaching focus on clean beauty, innovation, entrepreneurship, and beauty justice.
What makes this camp truly special is Dr. Melodie’s ability to translate college-level concepts into fun, age-appropriate, confidence-building lessons for teens. She creates a learning environment that is engaging, affirming, and inspiring—where students feel seen, heard, and encouraged to dream bigger.
Camp Location

Camp will be held at our cosmetics studio located in Henry County, Georgia.
The studio is located 1-2 miles off of Interstate 75, driving south of Atlanta, GA, Exit 221.
Driving time to Hartsfield Jackson Airport is approximately 35 minutes and 50 minutes to midtown Atlanta.

Camp Prepares for College & Careers
Teen Clean Beauty Camp introduces students to the foundational knowledge and real-world skills needed for entry-level pathways in beauty, wellness, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Through hands-on learning, career exploration, and brand-building activities, students gain early exposure to industry concepts, leadership, and creative problem-solving that support college studies and future career readiness. Campers leave with confidence, clarity, and a deeper understanding of how passion can turn into purpose.
